Since 2013, Rock & Roll Recruits has been running three-day music camps that operate every school holiday.

The camps offer an authentic and exciting experience of playing in a band. They promote accelerated learning, build confidence and inspire children to play music at all ability levels. 

As the week progresses, we work towards performing a gig at a local venue. This provides the perfect end to the week’s effort – family and friends will enjoy watching the bands perform as much as they’ll enjoy showing off the fruits of their labor!

During their time with us these budding musicians will learn how to work alongside one another within a group situation. The songs help them in both confidence and technical ability.

Whilst some students may be more familiar with playing from sheet music and some by ear, it is not necessary to have any formal qualifications. We will always guide and support them for their role within their band.

The groups:

We have four overlapping age groups allowing us to place the musicians within the age group they will be most comfortable with.

Subject to demand, these will be:

• 6-10
• 11-13
• 13-16
• 15-18

• Expert tuition from professional musicians
• All tutors hold DBS certificates
