      • The courses are held between 11:30 – 3:45pm Monday – Thursday during school holidays. Aimed at young musicians between 8-11 and 12-16 years of age.

We are currently catering for the following –

          • Singers,
          • Guitarists,
          • Bassists,
          • Pianists,
          • Drummers,
          • Persussionists,
          • Ukele players,
          • Sax,
          • Trumpet and more.

With enough notice we can cater for most instruments.

Students will learn from and jam with working professional musicians with years of experience in the international live music scene and music tuition. All tutors have an enhanced DBS certificate.

Over the course of the week we will be working towards performing at concert held for friends, family and the public. A perfect place to come down for some food and a drink and enjoy watching the kids show you what they have learned!

Students will learn how to take any training they have, formal or not, and use it in a band situation. The songs will help educate them in reading chord charts, ear training and technical ability. We also aim to help with improvisational skills, confidence building and general musicianship.

Some students may be more at home playing from sheet music or by ear; some may be more comfortable with spontaneous jamming. It will gently encourage them to come out of their comfort zone under our guidance. It is not necessary to have any formal qualifications.

WEEKLY COURSES FOR ADULTS

The adult course caters for musicians of all abilities who seek the opportunity to play as the member of a band. An emphasis is placed on a creative atmosphere, while providing extensive guidance and tuition. A wide range of instruments can be accommodated for, which adds to the diversity of the experience.

Have you toiled endlessly over the same few chords, or learnt classical guitar whilst secretly harboring ambitions to be a rock star, or maybe you have previously experienced playing in a band and seek to recapture the thrill that a live performance brings? Whatever your prior experience and motivation, Rock & Roll Recruits can offer you a unique vision for musical tuition; with the ultimate aim of teaching you to play within a band that gets their own gig!

You will have the opportunity to perform at a prestigious West London music venue: The Half Moon, in Putney. The gig is an occasion to celebrate the musicianship you have acquired throughout the course; while the classes offer a great opportunity to enjoy developing your skills and socialising with other musicians.

All tuition is offered by professionals from the music industry, who have not only the academic credentials but the extensive experience as gigging musicians to guide you through your journey to being a fully fledged Rock & Roll Recruit!
